Laura Christian
Laura, an Albuquerque native with a rich professional background, spent 20 years in an acute care hospital in Phoenix, AZ, and dedicated 8 years to working with special needs children in an underserved preschool. Since returning to Albuquerque, she has been serving in a long-term care center and has spent a year working at FUNctional Aquatics, all while enjoying hobbies like gardening, international travel, and spending time with her two children.
My Story
Laura is an Albuquerque native and has lived here most of her life. She graduated from Manzano HS and went to UNM. After graduating from UNM, Laura moved to Phoenix, AZ. She worked in an acute care hospital for 20 years. The hospital had an intensive rehab center, subacute rehab, orthopedic unit, med/surg unit, ICU, and long-term care center. Laura also worked in a preschool setting in an underserved area of Phoenix for eight years for children with special needs. When Laura moved back to Albuquerque, she began working in a long-term care center. She works at PRN and has worked at FUNctional Aquatics for one year.
Laura has two college-aged children that both attend the University of AZ. Her hobbies are gardening, international traveling, watching the Vikings and Diamondbacks, and spending time with family.
