Cynthia Medina
Cynthia Medina, a native of New Mexico, is a dedicated Occupational Therapist and psychology graduate who has devoted her career to empowering underserved communities and uplifting the quality of life for her clients. Besides serving in a skilled nursing facility and providing contract work through Functional Aquatics, she cherishes her roles as a wife and mother, continually striving to balance her professional endeavors with her personal commitments.
My Story
Cynthia Medina was born and raised in New Mexico. In 2008 she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico. She went on to work within underserved communities to inspire higher education. In 2012 she received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy to continue her work serving her New Mexico community. She is currently dividing her time between her most valued roles, as a wife and mother to her two children and serving as an Occupational Therapist in a skilled nursing facility as well as providing contract work through Functional Aquatics. Her overall goals are to enhance her community by helping her clients achieve their highest potential and increase their overall quality of life.
