Kirsten McDermott

Kirsten graduated from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona with her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been working in the field of pediatrics since graduating. She has worked in outpatient clinics, public schools, and early intervention settings. Kirsten is passionate about helping clients and families achieve their goals by helping them engage in meaningful activities. She loves to incorporate play into all aspects of her treatment sessions. Kirsten recently earned her board certification in pediatrics from the American Occupational Therapy Association. Kirsten is currently pursuing her PhD in Special education at UNM. When she is not studying or working Kirsten enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She tries to spend as much time outdoors hiking, camping, and traveling with her family as possible. She is also an avid reader and enjoys reading whenever she has free time.
